The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) will be accepting funding applications from eligible applicants for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV), Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF), County Fund for Housing (CFH) and Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA). CDBG funds may be used for eligible capital projects, affordable housing, fair housing, and economic development activities. HOME may be used for affordable housing projects and tenant based rental assistance. ESG and LMIHAF may be used for rapid rehousing and homelessness related supportive services, including homelessness prevention and outreach. CDBG-CV funds are only available to prepare, prevent, and or respond to Coronavirus. PLHA funds are available for affordable rental and or ownership housing. CFH funds may be used for affordable rental and or ownership housing as well as transitional and emergency housing.
These funds are available to eligible nonprofit organizations and governmental jurisdictions to support programs and activities that benefit lower-income households. All prospective applicants are required to attend a mandatory technical assistance workshop or meet with Commission staff to be eligible to apply. These funds are not available as direct assistance to individuals or households.
