NOTICE is hereby given that on December 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the City Council of the City of Citrus Heights will hold a Public Hearing at the City Council Chambers located at 6360 Fountain Sq Dr, Citrus Heights, CA for consideration of the projects listed below.
- The request is the adoption of a Resolution authorizing staff to apply for renewal of the City’s Prohousing Designation pursuant to the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s regulations for the Prohousing Designation Program.
- The request is the adoption of a Resolution authorizing application for, and receipt of, Prohousing Incentive Program funds.

Environmental Determination: The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) only applies to projects which have the potential to cause a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA. The project consists of policy and procedure-making activities which have no potential for physical effects on the environment. (CEQA Guidelines §15061(b)(3)).
Following the Public Hearing, the City Council may take such action on the project as it deems appropriate. Interested persons are invited to submit written comments prior to and may testify at the Public Hearing. Written comments may be submitted to Amy Van, City Clerk, 6360 Fountain Square Drive, Citrus Heights, CA 95621. If the matter is continued for any reason to a later date, written comments and public testimony will be accepted until the close of the final Public Hearing. All comments will be considered by the Approving Authority.
If you challenge the action of the City Council on this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Division at, or prior to the Public Hearing.
