A&nbsp; maximum of $87,424 is available&nbsp; for outreach and\/or emergency&nbsp; shelter.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Total&nbsp;<\/td><td>$4,370,647<\/td><td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commission administers federal funds from the United States Department of Housing&nbsp; and Urban Development (HUD), including CDBG, HOME, and ESG, on behalf of the County&nbsp; of Sonoma, the Town of Windsor, and the cities of Cloverdale, Cotati, Healdsburg, Rohnert&nbsp; Park, Sebastopol, and Sonoma (collectively, the \u201cUrban County\u201d). This NOFA, along with&nbsp; any associated guiding documents, as well as the FY 2026-2027 Federal Funding Policies,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>govern the distribution of these funds. Please review these materials carefully for important&nbsp; information on project\/program eligibility and application procedures. As stated in the&nbsp; Federal Funding Policies, prior to execution of a funding agreement, all federal awards are&nbsp; subject to completion of an environmental review in accordance with applicable HUD&nbsp; regulations, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Section 3 requirements to&nbsp; directly employ, train, and provide contract opportunities to low-income individuals and&nbsp; businesses that employ these persons in their community. Hard copy applications will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Funding Priorities&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Community Development Commission Loan Policies, CFH Policies, Homeownership&nbsp; Policies, and Federal Funding Policies guide the allocation process of these funds in an&nbsp; effort to further the strategic plan goals stated in the five-year Consolidated Plan.&nbsp; Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to review these policies prior to application&nbsp; submission. The policies can be viewed on this web page:&nbsp; https:\/\/sonomacounty.ca.gov\/development-services\/community-development&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>commission\/plans-policies-and-reports&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commission will recommend funding awards to the most competitive proposals that&nbsp; adhere to the applicable funding policies and are consistent with the goals of Consolidated&nbsp; Plan.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Process&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by Commission staff, who will then prepare&nbsp; an analysis for consideration by the CD Committee and the CTAC. For Federal Funding&nbsp; Applications, the committees will hold a concurrent public meeting to review staff analysis of&nbsp; applications submitted under the competitive funding categories, accept comment from&nbsp; applicants and the public, provide feedback to staff, and make funding recommendations&nbsp; that will be incorporated into the draft FY 2026-2027 Action Plan. The CD Committee will&nbsp; make final funding recommendations for LMIHAF and CFH. The hybrid meeting is scheduled&nbsp; for <strong>May 13, 2026 <\/strong>at 10:00 A.M. <strong>All applicants must be present to be considered for&nbsp; funding; applicants may attend in-person or virtually.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CD Committee and CTAC will hold concurrent public hearings on <strong>June 17, 2026 <\/strong>at&nbsp; 10:00 A.M. to make final funding recommendations for the draft FY 2026-2027 Annual Action&nbsp; Plan. <strong>All applicants that have applied for federal funds must be present to be&nbsp; considered for funding; applicants may attend in-person or virtually. <\/strong>The May and&nbsp; June meetings will be held in the hearing room located at the Sonoma County Community&nbsp; Development Commission office building, 141 Stony Circle, Suite 210 (second floor), Santa&nbsp; Rosa, CA 93401.
