“Éste es un tiempo perfecto para ser latino en el condado de Sonoma” dijo Wanda Tapia en un panel de discusión que recientemente fue llevado a cabo en el Museo del Condado de Sonoma. Sus controversiales declaraciones trajeron a la luz la dicotomía que existe entre la gran población latina de este país. Éste ES un tiempo perfecto para los latinos. Cada vez hay más latinos ocupando puestos de gran poder e influencia, como nunca antes se había visto.

‘’This is a great time to be a Latino in Sonoma County’’ said Wanda Tapia at a recent Latino Panel Discussion held by the Sonoma County Museum. Her controversial statement brings to light the dichotomy that exists within the large population of Latinos in this country. This IS a great time for Latinos. There are more Latinos in powerful and influential positions than ever before.

Efren Carrillo was elected Supervisor of the Fifth District in Sonoma County in December 2008.
